Ophthalmics Introduces Multi-Purpose Pediatric Vision Testing
– Focal Point Tools.

PARK, PA -- Gulden Ophthalmics, known for developing and
marketing highly beneficial, practical tools that

effective, introduces a multi-function pediatric occluder/vision
tester/focal point and a set of pediatric fixation targets
(focal points). The friendly smiley-face occluder serves the
normal occluder function – for testing one eye at time –
but is especially useful when examining younger children. The
smiley face is useful for testing younger children’s visual
acuity and also serves as an attention-getting focal point.
The set of pediatric fixation targets – with smiles or
frowns and attention-getting eyes – are useful when a child
is too young to read letters or stay focused on an eye chart.
Their friendly graphics help focus children’s attention and
provide a focal point for several different types of eye
function testing.
Practitioners will find the
tools extremely helpful when working with children, teenagers,
and even some senior citizens. Although the tools are priced
in line with typical occluders, they offer many more uses
without taking space required by several other tools.
