Gulden Ophthalmics releases another time-saving, utilitarian
tool with better features and advantages for eye care professionals.
ELKINS PARK, PA -- Gulden Ophthalmics introduces the Worthmore
Four Dot Tester, an ergonomically designed handheld tester used for binocular
vision testing for fusion, suppression, and/or diplopia. The tester works
with existing red/green anaglyph goggles/glasses. It
provides easy, rapid testing to evaluate binocularity
and central fusion/suppression at several distances.
The tester features four long-life LEDs (light-emitting diodes) that provide
consistent brightness. It avoids the problems inherent in unreliable flashlight
type testers that require new D or C cell batteries – and precludes
searching for fresh batteries when flashlight-type testers fail.
The Worthmore
Four Dot Tester is powered by an embedded long-life battery with an expected
life span of three to five years.
The tester is compact, only 2.5 inches in diameter and one-half inch thick,
making it very comfortable for any professional or office staff member to
use.
