15186 - The Phaco Practice Patient

The biggest hurdle in learning phacoemulsification is lack of artificial eyes with cataracts for practice. Gulden has developed an ergonomic simulator eye for practicing the basic steps of phaco surgery i.e. capsularrhexis, sculpting & four quadrant grooving, bimanual cracking into four quadrants, chopping and emulsification of the nucleus.

The set includes a half head to hold the eyes, a plastic tray to contain the head and liquids, and a pair of disposable practice eyes.
