. Capabilities
Gulden's manufacturing is presently supported by manual, Computer
Aided Design (CAD) engineering design capabilities and Computer
Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM). Gulden's
manufacturing and fabrication expertise is founded in its ability
to perform precision cutting, machining, molding, polishing, laser
engraving and assembly of plastics products. We also use the resources
of Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC) and Drexel
University.

. Overview
Gulden Industries is a manufacturer of primarily ophthalmic and
medical instruments/devices, but retains the ability to produce
non-medical products. Gulden's principal products are material
based in plastics and are machined, laser cut and injection molded.
Plastics materials include: ABS, acrylic, polymers and styrene.

. Quality Control
Gulden has instituted Total Quality Management
(TQM) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) training programs involving all levels of employees and managers. TQM and SPC are presently being incorporated into the culture, daily operations and manufacturing processes of Gulden. SPC data is being collected, processed and analyzed via SPC software and is maintained and available to our customers upon request. Gulden and its suppliers have agreed to undertake the same TQM and SPC training courses for its suppliers' management and employees.
